Netflix has officially announced that Alice in Borderland Season 3 will premiere on September 25, 2025. The Japanese sci-fi thriller, based on Haro Aso’s popular manga, will return with more deadly games and suspense, continuing to explore the enigmatic Borderland between life and death.
Following the dramatic events of Season 2, Arisu and Usagi are shown married and living a quiet life, but memories of the Borderland still haunt them. When Usagi suddenly disappears, guided by a man named Ryuji who studies the afterlife, she returns to the dangerous Borderland. Left behind, Arisu learns from Banda—now residing in the Borderland—about her whereabouts and must find a way back to save her once again.
Director Shinsuke Sato returns to lead the third season, with original stars Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya reprising their roles as Arisu and Usagi. The returning cast also includes Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, and Katsuya Maiguma. New cast members joining the intense storyline are Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, Sakura Kiryu, and Kento Kaku, along with Yugo Mikawa, Joey Iwanaga, and Akana Ikeda.
Produced by Robot with help from The Seven, and featuring screenplay writers Yasuko Kuramitsu and Shinsuke Sato plus music by Yutaka Yamada, the creative team aims to deliver fresh twists, deeper mysteries, and thrilling developments. The show is known for its high-stakes games and psychological intensity, with Season 2 topping Netflix’s Global Top 10 for non-English shows.
Season 3 promises to blur reality and illusion once again, keeping fans on edge until the final moment. Mark your calendars for September 25, 2025, to dive back into Arisu and Usagi’s gripping journey in the Borderland.
