Tina Fey and Steve Carell are reuniting in the highly anticipated series adaptation of The Four Seasons, which promises to blend comedy and drama while exploring the complexities of relationships. Based on the 1981 film of the same name, the show will follow four couples on vacation, with one couple on the verge of a breakup.

In this new series, Fey plays Kate, who is married to Jack (Will Forte), while Carell portrays Nick, who is married to Anne. Colman Domingo’s character, Danny, is in a relationship with Claude, played by Marco Calvin. The teaser hints that Nick and Anne might be the couple facing separation, as Carell’s character is shown arriving with a much younger woman, potentially signaling the beginning of their downfall.

The show will span four seasons, each following the couples through their vacations, during which tensions rise and secrets unfold. The collapse of one couple’s relationship will impact the dynamics of the entire group, providing plenty of room for comedic moments and emotional revelations.

In addition to Fey and Carell, the cast includes Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Colman Domingo, and Marco Calvin. The Four Seasons is created by Tina Fey in collaboration with her 30 Rock colleagues Lang Fisher and Tracey Wigfield. Fey’s husband, Jeff Richmond, is also on board as an executive producer, alongside David Miner and Eric Gurian.

With its mix of humor, heart, and the dynamics of long-term relationships, The Four Seasons is set to be a must-watch series, offering both laughs and emotional depth.
