National Vision saw its shares rise seven percent on Monday after the company shared its long term growth strategy during an investor event in New York. The optical retailer laid out a detailed plan to improve sales, cut costs, and increase profits through fiscal twenty thirty.

The company wants to achieve high single digit revenue growth every year. It is also aiming to grow its adjusted operating margins by fifty to one hundred fifty basis points each year. As part of its strategy, National Vision announced a multi year cost saving program. This effort is expected to save around twenty million dollars annually, with about half of that coming by fiscal twenty twenty six.

For fiscal twenty twenty six, the company expects high single digit revenue growth, mid single digit growth in comparable store sales, and around one hundred basis points of improvement in adjusted operating margin compared to the outlook for fiscal twenty twenty five.

CEO Alex Wilkes said the company is reinventing itself to create long term value. He explained that the business already has a solid base and is now following a multi year strategy to reach its full potential.

The new strategy focuses on four main areas. National Vision wants to reach customer segments it has not fully tapped. It aims to sell more premium lens products. It plans to improve customer experience by using better data insights. And it will continue expanding its store network. The company said that increasing premium product penetration by just one percent across three key lens categories could bring in nearly forty million dollars in extra revenue.

National Vision expects to spend about four to five percent of yearly revenue on capital investments through twenty thirty. The company will open about thirty new stores per year in twenty twenty six and twenty twenty seven. That pace will increase to about sixty new stores per year from twenty twenty eight to twenty thirty.

The company also confirmed its previously shared outlook for fiscal twenty twenty five.
