Just a day after sharing the happy news on Instagram, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi were spotted for the first time as new parents. The couple looked calm and content during a stroll in the Hamptons, enjoying their first outing as a family of three.
According to the Daily Mail, Millie wore a pastel-pink sweater with the word “Mother” written across the front in lilac letters, paired with white jeans, sneakers, and a bright pink Louis Vuitton bag. She was also seen carrying a phone case with the initials “RWB,” which many fans believe could be a hint at their baby girl’s name. Jake kept it casual in a black T-shirt, khaki pants, and a baseball cap as he pushed the stroller.
The couple had announced the adoption in a heartfelt Instagram post, writing: “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were 3.” They chose to disable comments on the post, asking for space during this special time.
For Millie, adoption was always something close to her heart. On the Smartless podcast, she revealed she wanted to become a mother at a young age, inspired by her own parents, who had children early. “I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me,” she explained. Jake supported her dream, with Millie adding that she sees no difference between adoption and having a biological child. “The energy in our house is the door is always open.”
The news also marks a milestone for the Bongiovi family, as rock legend Jon Bon Jovi is now a first-time grandfather. He has openly expressed support for the young couple, saying that age isn’t important as long as partners grow together.
Millie and Jake’s love story has moved quickly but steadily. They were first linked in 2021, announced their engagement in April 2023, and tied the knot in a private ceremony in May 2024 before hosting a bigger celebration in Italy later that year.
Now, with their daughter by their side, the couple is stepping into a new chapter filled with family and love.
