Miley Cyrus is back with her ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, a visual album set to drop on May 30, 2025. This marks her first full-length release since Endless Summer Vacation (2023), which featured the record-breaking hit Flowers.

The album, consisting of 13 original tracks, was co-produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, known for his work with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes. Fans can already preorder Something Beautiful in multiple formats, including signed vinyl, limited editions, CDs, and special box sets filled with exclusive merchandise.

To hype up the release, Cyrus unveiled the album cover, a striking image captured by renowned photographer Glen Luchford. The cover features the singer draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, adding to the album’s bold aesthetic.

Cyrus teased the project for weeks, dropping cryptic black-and-white silhouette posters on social media. Her online profiles changed to reference the album, while promotional billboards popped up worldwide, fueling fan speculation.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, she explained the inspiration behind Something Beautiful, saying, “The visual component is driving the sound. It was important for me that every song has healing sound properties.” She added, “Even when the songs are about destruction or heartbreak or death, they’re presented in a way that is beautiful—because even in our darkest times, there is something beautiful to be found.”

With anticipation building and a visual-heavy concept in store, Something Beautiful is shaping up to be one of Cyrus’ most ambitious projects yet. Fans won’t have to wait much longer to experience it in full.
