Michael Bublé is coming back to The Voice as a coach for the third time! NBC announced on Monday, May 12, that the beloved singer will join the panel of judges once again, alongside Niall Horan, Snoop Dogg, and Reba McEntire.

This makes Bublé one of the few artists in recent years to stick around for more than two seasons in a row on the show. When speaking with PEOPLE, the Canadian crooner shared how excited he is to return.

He said, “This is the best job I’ve ever had. Going to work every day is a joy, and I’m so thrilled to be back for Season 28.” Michael explained that he really connects with the contestants because they have the same passion and drive he had before he became famous.

For Bublé, being celebrated as a musician was a dream come true, so helping others chase that same dream feels incredibly rewarding. “I get to be a part of helping someone else in their journey to do that same thing, there’s nothing better,” he added warmly.

He also gave his thoughts on why The Voice has remained such a hit even after more than 20 years on TV. According to him, it’s because the show truly focuses on the artists. The judges get to mentor and polish some incredible talent while witnessing an amazing journey unfold.

Michael first joined the show as a coach in Season 26 (in 2024), alongside Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, and Snoop Dogg. His team’s contestant, Sofronio Vasquez, ended up winning the entire competition — making it an impressive first-time coaching victory for Bublé.

Sofronio also made history by becoming the first-ever Filipino singer to win The Voice.

The upcoming season will premiere with two-hour episodes airing on Mondays and Tuesdays starting this September. However, later in the season, the show will reduce to just one night per week because NBC is picking up NBA games for their schedule.
