Meghan Markle is stepping back into the spotlight with a brand-new podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder. Following her return to digital screens with her Netflix show, the Duchess of Sussex is now turning her focus to candid conversations with female entrepreneurs and friends, diving into the ups and downs of building a business and a brand.
In a newly released teaser, Meghan gives listeners a taste of what’s to come, featuring snippets of guests sharing their personal and professional struggles. “I’m Meghan, and this is Confessions of a Female Founder,” she introduces. “A show where I chat with female entrepreneurs and friends about the sleepless nights, the lessons learned, and the laser focus that got them to where they are today.”
The Suits alum promises to cover both the triumphs and the setbacks, offering listeners a real, unfiltered look at what it takes to succeed. “We’re diving into the highs—and the lows—and the kind of advice that turns small ideas into billion-dollar businesses,” she explains. And, of course, she assures there will be plenty of fun along the way: “And of course, we’re going to get some girl talk!”
The teaser also gives a glimpse into the raw and relatable stories her guests will share. One woman can be heard candidly admitting, “I’m broke, and nobody calls me.” Another guest passionately states, “I knew in that moment that I’d rather stand for something than sell a whole ton of product and stand for nothing.”
Meghan wraps up the trailer with a lighthearted note, setting the tone for the series. “This is not Shark Tank—think of this as dolphin tank,” she says playfully. “These are very friendly waters; it’s all going to be good.”
The podcast, produced in collaboration with Lemonada Media, is set to launch its first episode on April 18.
