Marvel Rivals is turning one, and the game is celebrating with a huge surprise. Players are getting a bunch of free rewards, and the original Season 1 Battle Pass is making a comeback. All of this is part of the big Anniversary Update. It will not stay in the game for long, so anyone who wants these items should grab them before they disappear again.
The Season 1 Dark Hold Battle Pass is finally back. This pass was extremely popular when it first launched, and many players have wanted it to return. It includes some of the most loved hero costumes in the game. These include Loki’s All-Butcher look, Moon Knight’s Blood outfit, Rocket Raccoon’s Bounty Hunter style, Magneto’s King Magnus costume, Peni Parker’s Blue Tarantula suit, Namor’s Savage Sub-Mariner form, Iron Man’s Blood Edge armor, Scarlet Witch’s Emporium Matron design, Adam Warlock’s Blood Soul look, and Wolverine’s Blood Berserker form. Many fans consider these some of the coolest designs in the entire game.
The Battle Pass still costs 990 Lattice, which is around ten dollars. While playing, you can earn back 600 Lattice from the rewards track. The Season 1 Dark Hold pass goes live on November 27 and stays in the game until December 11. That gives players about two weeks to unlock everything before it gets removed again. Anyone logging in during the event should also claim the free 2100 Units that the developers are giving out, along with the free Business Suit skin for Jeff the Shark.
This also is not the first time the developers have brought back an older Battle Pass. Earlier this year they re-released the Season 0 pass because fans asked for it. Some of those older skins later became part of Galacta’s Gift, which is a special event where players can earn rare cosmetics for free. It will be interesting to see if some of these Season 1 skins get added to that pool in the future.
Many players have been waiting for this return for a long time. Now they finally have another chance to collect these rare outfits. Whether some of them come back again later is still unknown, so this might be the safest time to get them.
