Streep was dressed casually chic in a white blouse, blue jeans, beige jacket, and grey hat, while Short rocked a reddish-brown trench coat with navy accents.
Though Short’s rep previously dismissed dating rumors, calling them “just very good friends,” fans are buzzing after seeing this intimate moment on set.
Also filming that day were Selena Gomez and Steve Martin, cruising around in the show’s iconic yellow-orange French Peugeot 504.
