Madonna gave her fans a rare peek inside her amazing closet this week. She invited popular fashion influencer Lyas to her fancy walk-in wardrobe at her New York City home, and he filmed the whole tour. The video was shared on Instagram on May 8.
Madonna was looking sharp in a stunning white suit designed by Tom Ford and Haider Ackermann—the same designers who dressed her for the Met Gala. While puffing on a cigar, she and Lyas chatted about how fashion has changed over time. Madonna got a bit nostalgic, saying she misses the days when fashion shows were more than just runway events—they were full cultural experiences.
She said, “Those were the best days. They’ll never be like that again. I felt really special going to a fashion show. I miss that deep dive into culture that used to be part of fashion shows. I don’t think people have the luxury to do that anymore.”
As they walked through her closet, fans got to see rows and rows of high-end designer clothes—true couture dreams. When Lyas jokingly asked if it was “better to be gay to work in fashion,” Madonna responded with her classic humor, saying, “It’s a must. What are you talking about? If you’re not gay and you’re working in fashion, you need to become gay.”
On a different note, Madonna recently made headlines for celebrating the birthday of her rumored boyfriend, 29-year-old football player Akeem Morris. The two have been linked since 2024.
In another heartfelt moment, Madonna opened up about ending a long-standing feud with music legend Elton John. They made peace backstage at Saturday Night Live in April, where Elton was performing. Madonna shared on Instagram that she felt she needed to face him, and when she did, Elton immediately said, “Forgive me,” breaking down years of tension.
She said, “Forgiveness is a powerful tool. Within minutes, we were hugging.” Madonna even hinted that Elton has written a song just for her, so fans might get to hear a new collaboration soon!
