Amaya Espinal, winner of Love Island season 7, is reflecting on what’s next for her after parting ways with Bryan Arenales. The two began dating just a month after leaving the villa, but things ended quickly. Just a day after the reunion episode aired, Amaya confirmed that the relationship was over.
Speaking to People magazine, Amaya shared that she and Bryan both knew they were on different paths. She explained, “We are no longer together. After leaving the villa, it became very clear that we were on two different journeys.”
Amaya was also open about her feelings on social media. On Instagram stories, she wrote, “Our visions didn’t align and relationships are supposed to be a team sport. You don’t have to drink the whole sea to know it’s salty. All love here and I truly wish him the best.”
While the split has been difficult, Amaya admitted that she is still processing everything. At the same time, she’s choosing to focus on moving forward. “I am very optimistic and very hopeful for the future,” she said. “I’m just happy to have so much support around me.”
The Love Island star also shared how thankful she feels for her fans. According to Amaya, the love she has received has been overwhelming in the best way. “It really is such a great feeling, seriously,” she added.
Though her romance with Bryan didn’t last long, the pair had already won over viewers and walked away as the champions of the latest season.
