A new season, a new host! Ariana Madix is stepping into the spotlight as the host of Love Island USA, taking over from Sarah Hyland, who had been the face of the show for the past two seasons.

So, what happened to Sarah? Well, she had to step down due to a scheduling conflict she had something else exciting lined up that clashed with Love Island’s filming dates.

Sarah shared the news with fans in a bittersweet Instagram post, saying:

“Well, just got a text. I’m disappointed the news had to break this way but it is in fact true that I will not be returning to the island this summer.”

She added that she’s already committed to a new project (which we’ll hear about soon!) and sadly, it overlaps with Love Island USA filming.
Even though she’s bummed about not returning, she ended her post on a high note, saying she still hopes to see lots of love on the show this summer.
