Liam Payne’s death in Argentina comes amid serious allegations from his ex-fiancée, Maya Henry, who accused him of harassment. Henry claimed Payne repeatedly contacted her after their breakup, leading to ongoing legal battles.

Maya Henry, who was engaged to Payne until their 2022 split, accused the late singer of persistent harassment. In a TikTok video, she claimed that Payne continued to message her despite her efforts to distance herself. She claimed that Liam Payne continued to message her and constantly contacted her from different phone numbers. She also alleged that Payne went as far as creating new iCloud accounts to reach out to her.

Further disturbing accusations surface

In addition to the harassment, Henry accused Payne of using manipulation to hinder her professional work. She stated that one of Payne’s friends had reached out to her and her family, urging her to delay releasing her upcoming book, suggesting she would feel responsible if anything happened to Payne. “If something happens to him, not only are you gonna blame yourself but the whole world’s gonna blame you,” Henry recalled in a resurfaced video.

Henry had recently filed a lawsuit against Payne, represented by her attorneys Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna. A spokesperson for Henry shared that she was “obviously in shock” upon hearing about Payne’s tragic death, but no further public comment has been made.
