Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken (about 4-5 pounds)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 lemons, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the chicken inside and out under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Season the chicken generously with salt and pepper, both inside and out.
- Place lemon slices and minced garlic inside the cavity of the chicken. Tie the legs together with kitchen twine, if desired.
