It seems that the relationship between Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet is facing some tension, particularly due to Chalamet’s intimate scenes on set. Recent reports suggest that Jenner, who is reportedly furious, has made it clear to Chalamet that she is uncomfortable with him filming such scenes, especially after Gwyneth Paltrow shared details about her own experience filming with Chalamet for their new project Marty Supreme.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Paltrow spoke about filming steamy scenes with Chalamet for the sports drama, where he plays a ping pong prodigy involved in an affair with the wife of his rival, played by Paltrow. This revelation reportedly upset Jenner, prompting her to set some boundaries with her boyfriend. A source close to the situation claimed that Jenner doesn’t appreciate the details of these intimate scenes and is particularly uncomfortable with Chalamet’s involvement in future onscreen intimacy.
Jenner’s concerns reportedly led to a heated conversation between the couple, with the source stating, “Timothée has no problem being intimate in movies, but Kylie doesn’t like it.” This follows the filming of Marty Supreme, which includes a provocative scene between Chalamet and Paltrow.
The issue was further compounded by Paltrow’s comments about the changing dynamics of filming intimate scenes, mentioning the presence of intimacy coordinators—a role she wasn’t familiar with—who help actors navigate these sensitive moments on set. The shift in how intimate scenes are managed, compared to older times when actors simply performed without much coordination, has become a topic of conversation in Hollywood.
Despite these challenges, the couple’s relationship remains in the public eye, and reports suggest that Chalamet may soon propose to Jenner, although these ongoing tensions over onscreen intimacy might add some complexities to their future together.
