Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet are finally letting the world see what’s been going on behind the scenes. After quietly dating since spring 2023, the couple made their red carpet debut at the 70th David di Donatello film awards in Rome — and it’s clear Kylie is happy about it.
A source told US Weekly that Kylie felt “happy” and “relieved” to finally show their relationship to the public. She wanted to proudly support Timothée and show off how proud she is of him.
On the red carpet, the duo looked stunning in matching black outfits. Timothée rocked a sharp Tom Ford suit with a white flower on the lapel, while Kylie dazzled in a black Schiaparelli gown. Kylie later shared photos on Instagram, captioning them with love for her look and makeup skills: “Rome in @schiaparelli @danielroseberry. Makeup by meee.”
Things are getting serious between them — they’re basically living together these days. The source said Timothée often stays at Kylie’s place when he’s not working and has become fully part of her life.
Though Kylie has quietly supported Timothée all along, now she feels comfortable showing that support publicly. The source mentioned that he makes Kylie feel calm and confident, which is a refreshing change from her past relationships.
Before their big red carpet moment, Kylie was already by Timothée’s side throughout the 2024 awards season. He received nominations for an Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA, SAG, and Critics’ Choice for his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. Kylie attended many of these events with him, including the Golden Globes and Oscars, but they kept things low-key by avoiding walking the carpet together.
