Kris Jenner recently celebrated her mom’s 91st birthday, but the internet quickly got distracted, not by the sweet family moment or her designer dress, but by what looked like an extra toe.
The party was held at The Ivy in Beverly Hills, with plenty of glitz, glam, and famous guests. Jenner, 69, showed up in a stunning floral gown by Oscar de la Renta and later shared a photo from the event on Instagram. But eagle-eyed fans spotted something strange: her left foot appeared to have six toes.
In the comments, some fans praised her youthful look. Others, though, were focused on her foot. One person asked, “Does she have 6 toes or am I trippin?” Turns out, they weren’t. The image clearly showed an extra toe, and the internet had a field day.
While it’s not the first time a Kardashian-Jenner photo sparked Photoshop rumours, this one stood out. AI-based photo editing tools, often used for touch-ups, are known to glitch when it comes to fine details. Things like fingers and toes, especially in full-body shots, can easily end up distorted or doubled.
Most likely, the image was edited by someone on Kris’s team, possibly an assistant or a digital editor trying to smooth things out or make the photo stand out. But somewhere in that process, an extra toe was born.
Page Six even reached out to Jenner’s reps for a comment, but there was no reply. And so, the mystery of the sixth toe lives on, and probably will for a while.
Of course, this isn’t the first Kardashian photoshop blunder. Fans may remember when Kim Kardashian once edited her niece’s face onto another niece’s body, just to match her Instagram feed. Kim later explained it was because “Chi was wearing pink,” and the colour worked better with her aesthetic.
At this point, these editing mishaps almost feel like tradition for the Kardashian-Jenners. Whether it’s an oddly placed hand, a warped background, or now, an extra toe, fans still act shocked every time.
And while younger members like Kylie Jenner have started to be more open about cosmetic work and beauty standards, that level of transparency hasn’t fully carried over to the rest of the family.
As for Kris? She probably won’t say much. If she does, maybe she’ll joke that the extra toe matched her dress, and that’s why she brought it out.
