Kris Jenner has shared why she stays close to her children’s ex partners, even after difficult and very public breakups. She spoke about it on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. She said her choices come from love and long term thinking.
Kris explained that she does not stop caring just because a relationship ends. She said love does not switch off like a button. Many of her children’s former partners are the fathers of her grandchildren. Because of that, they will always matter to her. She said she truly loves these men and that feeling stays even during hard times.
She also shared that all of her kids’ exes still have an open door to her. She wants them to feel welcome. She believes kindness and stability are important for the children involved. Her way of handling things is built on communication and compassion. She believes in forgiveness and moving forward instead of holding on to anger.
Kris said she often thinks about how her actions will look years from now. She wonders what her grandchildren would feel if they saw their grandmother treating their father badly. That thought guides her decisions. She wants to set an example of grace and maturity.
She added that she encourages her own children to forgive people who hurt them. Because of that, she tries to live by the same values herself. She believes letting go is healthier than holding grudges.
Kris recently turned 70 and said her priorities are even clearer now. She celebrated her birthday with a big James Bond themed party. Even at this age, she has no plans to retire. She shared that her mother worked well into her 80s and stayed young because of it. Kris hopes to do the same while staying healthy.
She said her life now revolves around her family, her children, and her grandchildren. These relationships mean everything to her.
She also recently celebrated her boyfriend Corey Gamble’s 45th birthday. She posted a loving message for him online and called him her rock and her partner. The two have been together since 2014. Kris has even joked that she might marry him now that she is 70.
