KPop Demon Hunters continues to dominate both screens and music charts. With talks of additional animated seasons, a live-action adaptation, and a musical, the franchise shows no signs of slowing down. Its songs, especially Golden, Your Idol, and Soda Pop, have become instant fan favorites. The fictional girl group HUNTRIX has now broken records in the K-pop industry, surpassing giants like NewJeans and BTS by achieving the most Perfect All-Kills (PAKs) in history.

HUNTRIX, made up of characters Rumi, Zoey, and Mira, revolves around the half-demon, half-hunter protagonist leader. Since the show’s release on June 20, the group has become a global sensation. Golden, in particular, topped charts and, as of August 11 at 10 AM KST, achieved its 656th hourly PAK, overtaking NewJeans’ Ditto, which previously held the record.

Currently, the top rankings include the two female teams followed by BTS’ Dynamite with 610 PAKs in 2022. Other notable songs include IU’s Celebrity with 462 PAKs in 2020, IVE’s I AM with 359 in 2023, IU’s Love wins all with 339 in 2024, ZICO’s Any Song with 330 in 2020, and aespa’s Supernova with 317 in 2024. With Golden’s popularity still growing, it’s expected to set an all-time high in PAKs.

For context, a Perfect All-Kill, or PAK, is when a song ranks number one across all daily and real-time music charts in South Korea, including Melon, Genie Music, YouTube Music, FLO, VIBE, and Bugs, as recorded by iChart. Fans are eagerly anticipating Golden surpassing 700 PAKs as more listeners join the craze every day.
