He received over 4.5 million messages from fans on the Goondori app. This app is used by soldiers and their loved ones to stay connected during enlistment. V received more messages than any other K-pop idol, making him the most supported Korean celebrity in military service history.
What makes this even more special is that V was not active during this time. He did not post on social media, release new music, or appear in public. Still, fans continued to send him love and support every day. This shows how deeply connected BTS fans, known as ARMY, are to him.
He also ranked number one for the highest number of daily messages on the app. No other celebrity has ever crossed even 3 million messages, making V the first to reach such a number.
Other BTS members also made the top 7 list. Jimin received 2.7 million messages, Jungkook got 2.5 million, SUGA received 1.7 million, and RM had 1.2 million. NCT’s Taeyong and SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan were also on the list.
