After her birthday celebration in February 2022, Fox came to the conclusion that she needed to end things with Ye. She broached the subject of a potential breakup with the “Heartless” rapper, and his response solidified the end of their relationship. Fox recounts that Ye brought up her past struggles with addiction, a topic she implies was brought to his attention by his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. According to Fox’s recollection in the memoir, she expressed her desire to part ways, to which Ye responded by mentioning a “good conversation with his soon-to-be-ex-wife.” He disclosed that he had “unearthed a lot of information about [you]” during their discussion. Ye then straightforwardly stated, “I didn’t know you were a drug addict.”
Although Fox refrained from explicitly naming Kardashian in her memoir, it didn’t take long for readers to draw the connections. It appears that this bombshell revelation is Fox’s way of asserting that Kardashian informed Ye about her past struggles with addiction.
