Kim Kardashian called for an emergency hearing with Kanye West over the custody North West

Kim Kardashian recently requested an emergency legal meeting with Kanye West after finding out that controversial figures Andrew and Tristan Tate were present during a visit between West and their daughter, North West.

According to TMZ, Kardashian immediately stopped North from seeing her father when security personnel informed her that the Tate brothers were expected to join them. This decision comes amid the Tates’ legal troubles—both brothers recently returned to the U.S. after facing serious charges, including sexual assault allegations.

In response to the situation, Kardashian and West, along with their lawyers and a mediator, held a meeting to discuss their co-parenting arrangements. This meeting was initially called following North’s surprise feature in West’s latest song, which also included Sean “Diddy” Combs. However, Kanye’s recent association with the Tate brothers also became a major topic of discussion.

Further details about the legal hearing are expected to emerge soon, but West has already been making waves on social media. Last week, he publicly criticized Kardashian on X (formerly Twitter), taking issue with her holding sole ownership rights over the “North West” brand.

Adding to the controversy, West also made a sudden post about Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s youngest child. This did not sit well with Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, who fired back on Instagram. Expressing her frustration, she wrote, “It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper.”

Kanye and Kim, who were married for eight years from 2014 to 2021, share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. While their co-parenting arrangement has been complex, West’s latest actions seem to have created even more tension between the former couple.
