Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s custody feud is heating up

Kanye West has made some serious accusations against his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, in a recent cease and desist letter. The rapper claims that Kim put their oldest daughter, North West, in a risky situation by leaving her alone in a car during the 2025 Met Gala event.

According to TMZ, Kanye’s lawyer, Kathy Johnson, sent a legal letter to Kim’s attorney focused on the well-being of their four children—North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. In the letter, Kanye accused Kim of breaking the rules they agreed on during their divorce, saying that she took North to the Met Gala in New York City but then left her unattended in the car for a large part of the event.

He also claimed that Kim has been denying him “meaningful access” to their children, which goes against their custody agreement. Under their current arrangement, Kim is not allowed to keep the kids away from Kanye.

The couple separated in 2021 after seven years of marriage. Their divorce deal gave them equal custody of the kids, and Kanye agreed to pay $200,000 a month in child support.

In addition, Kanye accused Kim of posting pictures and videos of their 11-year-old daughter North on TikTok without his permission. He also said that he hasn’t seen his son Saint yet this year and that Kim has been unfairly limiting his time with the other kids.

However, these claims don’t seem to add up since paparazzi photos showed Kanye spending time with Saint, Chicago, and Psalm in Japan earlier this year.

In the letter, Kanye also accused Kim of using North in public events and social media for her own personal or business benefit, which he described as exploitation.
