Kanye West releases his long-lost album Donda 2 from 2022 amid a string of ongoing controversies

After years of delays and exclusivity, Kanye West has finally released Donda 2 on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Tidal, and YouTube Music. The long-awaited follow-up to Donda was originally released in early 2022, but only through West’s custom-built Stem Player device, meaning most fans couldn’t easily access it—until now.

The newly released version of Donda 2 features 18 tracks, many of which come from the original Stem Player release, though several songs have been renamed, remixed, or fully reworked. It also includes some high-profile features, including Future, Jack Harlow, and surprisingly—Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s ex-wife.

One of the album’s most talked-about tracks is SCIFI, where Kardashian’s voice appears in a spoken-word section. In it, she reflects on her marriage to Kanye, saying:

“I married the best rapper of all time. Not only that, he’s the richest Black man in America. A talented, legit genius who gave me four talented, incredible kids.”

The clip has sparked conversation, especially given the former couple’s current custody battle over their four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. Kim and Kanye finalized their divorce in 2022, but tensions between them have continued to play out publicly.

In a recent Twitch livestream with producer Digital Nas, Kanye made headlines once again by taking a jab at his ex, saying he wished he’d had children with Paris Hilton instead of Kim. He added:

“Kim’s only power is to take my kids. I had a baby with a f—ing assistant, bro.”

This personal drama has added even more intensity to the album’s release. Still, Donda 2 is also drawing attention for its music. Future, who was named the album’s executive producer back in 2022, appears on tracks like Happy and Mr. Miagi, while Jack Harlow features on Louie Bag.

Kanye announced the album’s wider release during a Tuesday livestream, telling fans he was excited to finally make the project available to everyone. This release follows his recent project Bully, showing that Ye is staying active musically—even as controversy continues to surround him.

With Donda 2 now easily accessible, fans can finally hear what Kanye has been working on—and decide for themselves if it was worth the wait.
