Fans of the newest hit anime, Kaiju No. 8, need not fret about the release schedule for Episode 3 and the remaining episodes. The series, which premiered with “The Man Who Became a Kaiju” on April 13, aired on the Japanese TV network TV Tokyo and was simulcast on Crunchyroll at 7 a.m. PT. Although some fans were initially frustrated by the delay in streaming availability, Crunchyroll has since adjusted its schedule, promising to make subs and dubs of episodes available even sooner, at 7:30 a.m. PT, akin to Netflix’s approach with Delicious in Dungeon.
Kaiju No. 8 episode 3 release date
As for Episode 3, it is set to be live-streamed on Crunchyroll on Saturday, April 27, at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT, with both subbed and dubbed versions becoming available for streaming at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m PT. The remaining episodes of Season 1 are expected to follow a similar release pattern, with a Blu-ray/DVD listing confirming that the season will consist of 12 episodes.
Given the constraints of adapting material from the manga, which may not provide enough content for a full season, the release schedule for the remaining episodes is as follows:
- Episode 4: Saturday, May 4
- Episode 5: Saturday, May 11
- Episode 6: Saturday, May 18
- Episode 7: Saturday, May 25
- Episode 8: Saturday, June 1
- Episode 9: Saturday, June 8
- Episode 10: Saturday, June 15
- Episode 11: Saturday, June 22
- Episode 12: Saturday, June 29
Barring any unforeseen complications or changes, each episode will continue to be live-streamed on Crunchyroll every week at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT, with the sub and dub versions available for streaming 30 minutes later at 10:30 a.m. ET/7:30 a.m. PT.
