Justin Hartley’s hit CBS show Tracker is getting a boost this season with guest appearances from his wife, actress Sofia Pernas. On a recent episode of Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?, Hartley joked about how effortless it was to cast her. “Obviously, I got her because I live with her. It’s not even a phone call,” Hartley shared humorously.

Pernas, who joins Tracker’s second season, brings a fresh dynamic to the show. Hartley shared that getting her on set was as easy as inviting her along to work together. Viewers can expect to see Pernas this Sunday, October 27, with plans for additional episodes throughout the season. Hartley is both the lead actor and executive producer of Tracker, giving him creative freedom over the show’s direction, including casting big names like Jensen Ackles, Melissa Roxburgh, and Jennifer Morrison.

Balancing a busy cast is a challenge, but Hartley notes they’re committed to bringing back fan favorites. “In a perfect world, we’d see Jensen as much as we can… and the same with Melissa,” Hartley mentioned in a recent interview, teasing that Pernas might make more appearances to build her character’s backstory.

Hartley is equally excited about the show’s unfolding mysteries. Season 2 will dig deeper into character backstories and bigger questions about Hartley’s character, Colter. “We wanted those bows to lead to other questions… about his past,” he told Deadline. With Pernas joining, viewers are in for a thrilling season with layered mysteries and unexpected twists.
