There’s been a lot of buzz lately linking Justin Bieber to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ ongoing criminal trial, but Bieber’s team has come out strongly to deny any involvement or connection to the rapper in that way.

Justin, now 31, first met Diddy when he was just a teenager starting out in music, which partly explains why old videos of the two have resurfaced on social media. One clip from 2011 shows them on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where Diddy mentioned something about a Lamborghini he promised young Justin. Diddy called Bieber his protégé back then, but when asked about their relationship recently, he dodged questions, saying Justin “knows better than to talk about what he does with Big Brother Puff” on TV.

Another clip from 2009 shows a 15-year-old Bieber hanging out with Diddy, who told him, “As soon as you turn 16, I’m gonna let you rock this car,” and described their time together as “a 15-year-old’s dream.” He said they would “go buck full crazy” for two days straight but kept the details vague.

Even with these clips stirring speculation, sources close to Bieber told TMZ this was all part of a public persona and not the reality of their relationship. Apparently, Justin was actually closer to Diddy’s sons, Quincy and Justin Combs, than to Diddy himself. Bieber’s rep emphasized there was nothing inappropriate in their connection.

To clear things up, Bieber’s camp made a statement saying, “Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him. Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

So, while Bieber’s name might keep popping up in conversations because of their past interactions, his representatives have firmly denied any involvement in the serious accusations against Diddy, stressing that Justin is not a victim in this case.
