Justin Bieber has officially severed ties with Drew House, the fashion brand he co-founded with stylist Ryan Good in 2018. In a blunt and now-deleted Instagram Story posted on April 10, Bieber stated, “I, Justin Bieber, am no longer involved in this brand. Drewhouse doesn’t represent me or [my] family or life. If you’re rocking with me the human Justin Bieber, don’t waste your money on drewhouse.” The message, accompanied by a screenshot of the brand’s Instagram with its logo crossed out, suggests a complete and possibly abrupt break.
This announcement coincides with speculation about his personal life—especially his reportedly strained relationship with wife Hailey Bieber. While neither has commented directly on the rumors, Bieber’s distancing from Drew House and pivot to a new brand, SKYLRK, hints at a larger personal and professional rebranding effort.
Controversy quickly followed. A promotional video for SKYLRK showed an animated Bieber burning down a house—clearly symbolic of leaving Drew House behind. The imagery sparked backlash, especially from those connected to Drew House who felt blindsided. A source told PEOPLE that some employees found the video “insensitive,” particularly given recent wildfires in areas like Palisades and Pasadena, where some staff were reportedly affected.
This exit marks a major shift for Bieber, who was once highly involved in Drew House, from designing collections to influencing the brand’s laid-back aesthetic. His creative vision and celebrity status—along with Hailey’s visibility—were essential in Drew House’s rise in the streetwear scene.
