Justin Baldoni and Jennifer Abe have filed a lawsuit against his former publicist, Stephanie Jones, following a series of events that sparked significant public interest and legal battles. The lawsuit centers around Jones’s alleged actions that led to a scandal involving Baldoni and his It Ends With Us co-star, Blake Lively.
The drama started with rumors of tension between Baldoni and Lively, which were fueled by the fact that some cast members stopped following Baldoni on Instagram. This raised concerns and escalated into a public spectacle. According to Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, Jones is accused of violating privacy rights and trust by initiating the entire situation.
The lawsuit claims that Jones, after being fired from Wayfarer Studios, used her partner’s phone to contact Lively’s publicist, Leslie Sloane, and maliciously shared private communications. Additionally, the legal documents allege that Jones played a key role in the leaking of thousands of pages of text messages and emails that contributed to the legal controversy involving Baldoni and Lively. These communications, which were obtained through a subpoena, allegedly detailed sensitive matters and further fueled the public feud.
Furthermore, Jennifer Abe alleges that Jones’s actions resulted in her losing access to her sensitive accounts, including her bank, iCloud, and other personal services tied to her phone number. According to the lawsuit, Jones reached out to Lively’s team, offering what she believed would serve as damaging information against Baldoni and Abe. This breach of trust led to significant personal and professional consequences for both Baldoni and Abe.
The ongoing legal case is a complex web of accusations involving privacy violations, betrayal, and the consequences of public relations gone awry.
