Justin Baldoni reportedly feels the emotional and financial burn due to the It Ends With Us lawsuit

Justin Baldoni is leaning on his family and faith as he prepares for a legal battle with actress Blake Lively set to start in March 2026. The “It Ends with Us” star, 41, and his wife Emily are sticking close to a small, loyal group of friends for support, according to a family friend who spoke with People.

The friend said the lawsuit has been stressful for both Justin and Emily, but their marriage is strong—actually stronger than before. They’ve been married since 2013 and have two kids, Maiya and Maxwell.

“March feels a long way off,” the friend added. “But Justin is definitely feeling the pressure—both emotionally and financially—because of the lawsuit.”

The whole thing started in December 2024, when Blake Lively accused Justin of sexual harassment during their film’s production and claimed he launched a smear campaign against her in retaliation.

Justin denied everything and hit back in January with a \$400 million countersuit against Blake, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and her publicist, accusing them of extortion and defamation.

Taylor Swift, who’s close with Blake, also got mentioned in the case. Some texts attached to the lawsuit have Blake comparing Taylor to dragons from Game of Thrones. Justin claims Blake used his celebrity friends to try to influence him and even control the Netflix film’s script.

Even with all this drama, Justin is staying hopeful. A friend said, “He’s a positive guy and believes it’ll all work out in the end.”

Another source added that Justin has been spending a lot of time with his wife, family, and close friends like usual—he’s always kept a tight-knit circle and that hasn’t changed.

A Hollywood insider also shared that Justin feels good about his legal team and isn’t worried about his career or money despite the situation.

Meanwhile, Blake Lively has been making public appearances, including at Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary and the TIME100 gala, since filing the lawsuit.
