The youngest member of BTS has become the first K-pop idol and the only Asian soloist to have every one of his original solo songs surpass 100 million streams on the global music platform. The feat cements his legacy as a solo powerhouse and highlights his unwavering global popularity—even years after the initial release of many of his tracks.
As of now, 18 of Jungkook’s solo songs, including tracks from his debut solo album Golden, earlier solo digital singles, and notable collaborations, have each crossed the 100 million mark on Spotify. This rare accomplishment places him in an elite league of artists, joining Western music heavyweights like Billie Eilish and Harry Styles, both known for their spotless streaming records. However, Jungkook is the only Asian act ever to achieve this with a complete solo discography.
The most recent addition to this 100-million club is “i wonder…”, his 2024 collaboration with fellow BTS member J-Hope. The song gained renewed attention after Jungkook performed it live at J-Hope’s HOPE ON THE STAGE encore concert in Goyang on June 13, just two days after Jungkook’s military discharge.
