Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good are officially married, a source confirmed to PEOPLE on Tuesday, March 18. The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony at their Los Angeles home, according to Entertainment Tonight.

The wedding was intimate, with only their mothers present. Majors’ mother, a pastor, officiated the ceremony, while Good’s mother served as the witness.

This marriage comes just four months after they announced their engagement at the EBONY Power 100 Gala in November 2024. At the event, Good proudly displayed her engagement ring, and Majors expressed his happiness, telling PEOPLE, “It’s a season of joy.” Good added, “It’s a season of all the good things.”

Majors and Good first sparked dating rumors in May 2023 when they were seen together at an Alamo Drafthouse movie theater in Los Angeles. Their relationship went public around the same time Majors was facing legal issues. Despite the controversy surrounding him, Good stood by his side and even attended several of his court hearings.

In July 2024, Good shared with PEOPLE that she and Majors had instant chemistry when they first met. The couple revealed they actually met in 2022 at the EBONY Power 100 Gala, in a unisex bathroom. Good explained to E! News that they chose to announce their engagement at that same gala because it’s where their story began.

Majors had been arrested in March 2023 following an alleged assault involving his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari. In December 2023, he was found guilty of two misdemeanor assault charges and harassment. He was sentenced in April 2024 to a one-year in-person domestic violence intervention program.

Throughout this period, Good continued to support Majors. She revealed that Majors had initially discouraged her from being with him, wanting to protect her from the fallout. However, she reassured him, saying that her past experiences in the industry had prepared her to love him regardless of his circumstances, even describing herself as a “Black Leo.”

Before her relationship with Majors, Good was married to pastor DeVon Franklin for nine years. They announced their separation in December 2021 and finalized their divorce in June 2022.
