Joe Keery, known for his role in “Stranger Things,” has quashed rumors of a potential collaboration with Taylor Swift in the music realm. Reports speculated their collaboration after the two were seen at the Electric Lady recording studio in New York City on the same day. Keery clarified on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon that he was merely at the studio minding his own business and that the situation became confusing when fans mistook him for Taylor Swift’s company.
Addressing the rumors, Keery denied the collaboration but hinted at the possibility of something sparking from the experience, leaving a glimmer of hope for fans. Although he didn’t confirm any musical endeavor with Swift, Keery, who releases music under the stage name Djo, has a musical background and was previously part of the psychedelic rock band Post Animal before pursuing a solo career.
Regarding the highly anticipated final season of “Stranger Things,” Keery cautiously disclosed that he’s read some scripts but remained uncertain about specific details. When asked if fans could expect his character, Steve Harrington, to face more challenges in the upcoming season, Keery hinted at the possibility without revealing much.
Production for Stranger Things Season 5 is slated to commence in 2024. In a previous interview, Keery expressed mixed emotions about the show coming to an end, acknowledging the opportunities it has provided while aiming to cherish the remaining time and continue embracing the joy of working on the series.
