Joe Gatto, former star of Impractical Jokers, has publicly denied allegations of sexual assault after a TikTok user accused him of misconduct following one of his shows in 2023.

In an interview with Page Six, Gatto directly addressed the claims, asserting that while he has made mistakes in his personal life, he would never assault anyone. “I have used poor judgment and, as a result, have violated the trust of the people I love most,” he admitted. “But anyone who knows me at all knows full well that I wouldn’t assault anyone.”

The TikTok user, known as Joozyb, posted a video alleging that she was sexually assaulted by Gatto after meeting him at a show in Milwaukee. She claimed that the incident occurred at a hotel where they went together, adding that she had been drinking at the time.

In her video, she said, “I got sexually assaulted by Joe Gatto, the ‘Impractical Joker.’” However, she did not provide specific details about the alleged encounter, only mentioning that “some stuff happened” and that Gatto had sent her messages that started to feel “a little weird.” To back up her claims, she included a photo of herself with Gatto after the show.

At the time of the alleged incident, Gatto had reportedly reunited with his wife, further complicating the situation.

Gatto also announced that he would be stepping away from the public eye for now, saying, “Working on myself is an ongoing process, and I am now going to take some time away from the public eye to focus my energies where I need to.”

The accusation has sparked significant discussion online, with fans divided over the claims. So far, no further details or legal actions have been reported.
