Jesy Nelson just gave fans a much-needed positive update after a scary few weeks. The former Little Mix star, who’s expecting twins with her partner Zion Foster, is still in the hospital but shared some really good news in a video posted from her hospital room on April 6. Dressed in cute flamingo-print pajamas and cradling her growing baby bump, Jesy looked calm and grateful as she thanked everyone for their support.

“We’re another week along, and we just feel so incredibly blessed that these little babies are still hanging in there,” Jesy said, smiling alongside Zion.

Jesy first announced her pregnancy back on January 12, revealing she was expecting twins. Not long after, she explained that her pregnancy came with extra risks because her babies are monochorionic diamniotic twins — meaning they share one placenta but have separate amniotic sacs. While it sounds sweet, it actually raises the chances of a rare complication called twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS). In simple terms, it’s when one baby can end up taking more blood and nutrients than the other, which can sadly become very dangerous for both.

In early March, Jesy opened up about how emotional and scary it was to learn about TTTS. She tearfully explained that if things went wrong, it could mean losing both babies. A few days after that tough moment, Jesy started experiencing troubling symptoms — things like her stomach tightening and struggling to breathe — and was rushed to the hospital for close monitoring.

After weighing the risks, Jesy’s doctors decided that surgery was the best option to help balance things out between the twins. Thankfully, Jesy shared that the operation — which happened at the end of March — was a success! “The TTTS has cleared up. The operation worked, which is just absolutely incredible,” she happily told fans during her Mother’s Day update.

Even though she’s still stuck in the hospital (mostly to prevent going into early labor), Jesy is staying positive. “Every week, we’re like, please, please stay in there,” she laughed, adding that Zion sometimes wheels her outside for a little fresh air whenever they get the chance.

Jesy promised to keep everyone in the loop and ended her update by saying how much the love and kind messages from fans have meant to her and Zion. “You guys have been so lovely. It’s just really helped us keep going,” she said warmly.

Right now, it’s all about patience, positivity, and a lot of love as Jesy and Zion wait to welcome their little ones.
