During the Nov. 8 episode, Lopez, 55, reflected on the difficult decision to cancel her highly anticipated This Is Me… Live tour earlier this year, a choice that left many fans disappointed. “I would like to apologize to the fans, because I know a lot of them were coming out,” she explained with an emotional expression. She recounted a touching interaction with a fan outside her hotel who, despite expressing disappointment over the canceled tour, had reassured her of his support.
“Coming out of the hotel yesterday, they were like, ‘Oh, I had tickets to see you,’” she shared. “I was like, ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he was like, ‘Don’t say sorry. We love you.’ I started crying right away.”
At that moment, a voice from the audience shouted to her, revealing himself as the very fan she had met. “Was that you?!” Lopez asked, her face lighting up with a suprised and emotional expression. She then stood up, crossed the stage, and embraced him warmly, clearly moved by the reunion. The fan continued to reassure her, affirming that her supporters understood her decision and that their admiration remained steadfast.
Lopez expressed the depth of her appreciation as she hugged the fan. “I got in the car and literally cried,” she admitted, adding, “Honestly, it was very hard for me to cancel, and I’ve never done that before. I’m sorry.”
