JBL unveils new party lights that wirelessly sync with glowing speakers

JBL has launched two exciting new accessories for its PartyBox line of LED-enhanced Bluetooth speakers: the PartyLight Stick and the PartyLight Beam. These innovative products are designed to elevate any party atmosphere with their synchronized light shows and dynamic features.

The PartyLight Stick, priced at $99.95, resembles a glowing animated lightsaber and utilizes 183 RGB LEDs. It boasts a rechargeable battery that offers approximately eight hours of operation, allowing for flexible placement around a room without the hassle of power cords. Additionally, it features an IPX4 splashproof rating, making it suitable for outdoor use, even in light rain or near a pool.

On the other hand, the PartyLight Beam, available for $149.95, can cast impressive light shows on walls or ceilings. It combines three RGB LEDs with four white LEDs for versatile lighting effects. However, it must be plugged into a wall outlet, which may limit its positioning during lively events. While the angle of projection can be adjusted, JBL has not provided an IP rating for the Beam, suggesting that users should keep it away from moisture and splashes.

Both accessories can operate independently, with users able to control the intensity, speed, and motion of the lights via a mobile app. When paired with JBL’s PartyBox speakers, the PartyLight Stick and PartyLight Beam can synchronize their animated light shows with the speakers’ LEDs and the music playing. This feature leverages Bluetooth Auracast, allowing it to broadcast to an unlimited number of devices. This means that multiple PartyLight Sticks and Beams can be combined to create a larger, more vibrant light show, perfect for any gathering.

JBL’s PartyLight Stick and PartyLight Beam are now available in North America and Europe, providing party enthusiasts with new ways to enhance their events.
