Israeli military has pledged to step up its bombardment of the besieged Gaza Strip in the next stage of war, as it has vowed to attack targets that could pose as threat to its ground forces.
Israel is widely expected to launch a major ground offensive into Gaza to “demolish” the Palestinian militant group Hamas.
As per the reports by Reuters, the Palestinians have claimed to receive new warnings from Israel to move from north to south. They added that they will be considered as sympathisers with “terrorist organisation” if they stay put.
Meanwhile, Israel’s military launched an air strike on an underground compound at a mosque in the occupied West Bank that allegedly contained a “terror cell.”
Global aid organisations warned humanitarian relief that has allowed into the region is far less from being sufficient. The U.N. has called for “unrestricted humanitarian aid” for the Palestinians in the region. Israel opened the Gaza – Egypt border on Saturday to allow 20 of the 200 trucks waiting at the border with desperately needed aid. The U.N. has warned that the medical facilities in Gaza will run out of fuel “in the next day or so.”
