However, despite the public displays of affection, there are reportedly some tensions within Chalamet’s family, particularly with his sister, Pauline.
Sources close to the Call Me By Your Name star have revealed that Pauline is not a fan of Jenner, citing the stark differences in values between the Kardashian star and their family. Pauline, who is said to appreciate simplicity, reportedly feels that Kylie is with Timothée for the image it projects, rather than genuine connection. One insider mentioned that Pauline sees Kylie as being very different from her, with her lifestyle and public persona not aligning with the more grounded values she holds dear.
Interestingly, while there has been speculation that Pauline disapproves of the relationship, the two were seen getting along well during a public appearance at the Copreni Awards afterparty in October last year, which seemed to contradict the reports of tension.
Despite the reported family discord, Chalamet and Jenner are said to be moving forward with their relationship, with whispers of an engagement in the near future. Sources close to the couple claim that Chalamet has even picked out a $300,000 ring and is reportedly searching for wedding venues in Europe.
