The Chosen Season 6 is not scheduled for April 2026.

Dallas Jenkins, creator of The Chosen, has released updates confirming that the Season 6 episodes will be available on Prime Video in Fall 2026 (most likely September through November) and that the show’s stars, like Jonathan Roumie, have confirmed as well. Each of these six episodes is to be released as part of the six-episode season in Fall 2026.

The final episode of Season 6 is a supersized version of The Crucifixion. Its theatrical release is planned for Spring 2027; some reports point to a March 12, 2027, release.

Jenkins confirmed in person at various events and ChosenCons in 2026 that Season 6 is the largest and most complex season to date and will require a great deal of filming, a significant amount of visual effects, and many international dubbing personnel. Filming for Season 6 has finished.

There are no credible sources that have announced an April 2026 release for the entire Season 6 or any individual episodes – and any rumors or fan speculation do not match what has been announced by the production team or Prime Video. Check the official channels for both The Chosen and Prime Video for the official date this Fall 2026; it will likely be available soon.
