Days after turning heads with her see-through lace gown, the Euphoria star was seen out late one night in Los Angeles with her ex-fiancé, Jonathan Davino. This is more than six months after reports said they’d called off their engagement. Fans are left speculating whether they are taking a second chance at love or something else.
According to the Daily Mail, the 28-year-old actress was spotted on November 2, 2025, flaunting a new short bob cut, as she was in jean shorts and a brown leather jacket. She had just finished dinner with friends at popular Santa Monica restaurant Giorgio Baldi when she was photographed getting into a car driven by Davino. While the couple didn’t show any public displays of affection, a calm and familiar air made fans think there could still be lingering feelings.
But apparently, not everything was as it seemed. RadarOnline reported that onlookers overheard Sydney raising her voice in what sounded like an argumentative way. Eyewitnesses claimed she shouted, “I don’t believe you. Please leave, leave me alone,” fueling speculation that there might have been a tense exchange that night between the two exes.
Sydney and Jonathan’s romance dates back to 2018, after which they started dating very discreetly. For years, the two kept their love life on the down low until their engagement in 2022. However, by March 2025, speculations were rife that the duo had called it quits. While Sydney never confirmed the break-up, she was soon linked with several A-listers in Hollywood, including her Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell and music executive Scooter Braun.
