With Pokémon being exclusive to Nintendo consoles, it’s no wonder that players on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC were excited to jump into a similar experience. At the moment, Palworld does support cross-platform play between Xbox and PC—but only if you’re playing the game through the Xbox app on PC. Unfortunately, if you’re on Steam or PlayStation 5, you won’t be able to team up with friends on Xbox just yet. While this setup isn’t ideal, especially compared to full cross-platform games, it’s better than having no cross-platform support, like Elden Ring.
The game’s developers have mentioned they’re working on expanding cross-platform functionality, but there hasn’t been any new information since the game launched. We’ll keep you updated as soon as more details become available.
