This show (a 2026 “coming-of-age” type drama) was shown on tvN (South Korea) from February 4 through March 12, 2026, with 12 episodes. The directorial staff consisted of Lee Hyun-seok and Jung Yeo-jin; the writers were Soo Jin and Shin Yi-hyun; the leading actors were Bae In-hyuk as Sun Tae-hyung and Roh Jeong-eui as Woo Hyun-jin. Child actor Park Yu-ho appeared with Park Seo-ham (as well as the adult leads). The general themes include in-laws living together after their family loses a son; they take in their deceased brother’s 2-year-old son, creating a somewhat chaotic but ultimately happy family.

Our Universe (Korean title: 우주를 줄게 / Ujureul Julge) has not been renewed for Season 2.

This drama was very good because it included a good mix of humor (romantic-comedy elements); there were emotional themes throughout the series, particularly regarding parenting and loss; the leads’ chemistry was great, as well as that of the child actor. Overall, the series received a lot of positive feedback regarding the mix of genres and leads. It has had good ratings and is available from several streaming providers (Viki) with subtitles.

As of late March 2026, tvN hasn’t yet made any type of announcement about renewing their drama series for Season Two. Many Korean dramas do not get a second season, unless they’re exceptionally successful (e.g., a currently successful drama). A lot of videos on YouTube discuss endings and “what if” situations, but there aren’t any official updates. However, some of these have mentioned trailers or “updates,” but most appear as fan created/just speculative, and not officially.

The odds of getting renewed are determined by viewership data from television (i.e., Nielsen), online performance on streaming platforms, and decisions made by network executives. Keep an eye out to see if tvN or the cast releases any news or announcements regarding the show.
