Jeremy Renner is making his way back into the Marvel universe. After going through a life-threatening snowplough accident in 2023, the actor is finally feeling strong again. He played Hawkeye in the last Marvel project he did, and now he says he’s ready to return for season two. This news has excited fans who weren’t sure if they’d see him in action again.

In a chat with Empire, Jeremy said he feels more than ready. He joked that his body is almost 150 per cent recovered. He said he’s prepared to handle stunt work and anything else Marvel might plan for him. It’s been a long road to healing, but he’s made it through. He also made it clear that he’s excited to jump back in. He loves the Marvel team and enjoys playing Hawkeye. For him, it’s not just a job. It’s something he’s genuinely passionate about.

But he also shared something a little disappointing. When Marvel reached out to him for season two, they offered Jeremy Renner less money than before. He said it was about half of what he got for the first season. He thinks that maybe it has something to do with his injuries. Maybe the studio wasn’t sure if he could still keep up. Still, he didn’t sound angry. Jeremy Renner just seemed focused on doing the work and being back with the people he enjoys working with.

He said he’s sure they’ll end up doing season two and probably more projects too. He’s been getting his body in shape again, slowly building strength. He even laughed and said he’s not sure if people want to see him in tights, but he promised his body would look good in them. It shows he’s taking things lightly and with good humour, even after everything he went through.

As of now, Marvel hasn’t officially announced season two. But if you watched the end of season one, you probably noticed the hints. It looked like Kate Bishop might be stepping into a bigger role. So the story could focus on her more in the future. Still, fans are hoping Jeremy’s Hawkeye will stay part of it. It’s also expected that Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, and Alaqua Cox will return if the new season goes ahead.

Jeremy Renner’s health update

In the same interview, Jeremy Renner gave an update on his health. He said he’s fully recovered from the injuries caused by the accident. His body is not exactly the same, but he feels strong. He shared that he now makes health and wellness a big part of his life. That focus has helped him recover faster. He said even though he’s getting older, he feels better than before. There are still some small issues like tight tendons and limited movement in a few spots. But he spent a lot of time healing and building strength. And he said something important. He said he wouldn’t be this strong now if he hadn’t gone through the accident. That experience pushed him to take care of himself more than ever before.

Meanwhile, Marvel Studios is working on new projects too. One of the biggest upcoming films is Avengers: Doomsday. And this time, Robert Downey Jr. is coming back. But he’s not playing Iron Man. He’s going to be Dr. Doom, the main villain. This twist has fans really curious and excited to see how the story will unfold.
