Glen Powell, the heartthrob who gained momentum after his prominent role in the highly anticipated film Top Gun: Maverick, has seen a surge in curiosity regarding his personal life.
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Powell’s on-screen journey commenced in the early 2000s with appearances in movies such as Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over and The Great Debaters. However, it was his role in Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens in 2015 that truly propelled his career.
From thereon, Powell navigated through a relatively smooth path, landing leading roles in films like 2018’s Set It Up, 2022’s Devotion, and the 2023 releases of Hit Man and Anyone but You. The latter production caused a stir in early 2023, sparking tabloid interest in Powell’s romantic affairs when rumors surfaced about a possible involvement with his co-star Sydney Sweeney.
As for Powell’s current relationship status, he has been publicly single since at least April 2023. Reports from an undisclosed source in People revealed that Powell and his model girlfriend Gigi Paris called it quits during the filming of Anyone but You in March. Allegedly, the couple struggled with the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship imposed by their respective professions.
The same source dismissed any speculation of Powell cheating with Sydney Sweeney, despite social media gossip triggered by Paris unfollowing Sweeney on Instagram and posting a seemingly suggestive video. According to the People report, “Gigi only unfollowed Sydney on social media because Sydney never followed her back.”
Before his relationship with Paris, 35-year-old Powell was briefly associated with The Vampire Diaries actress Nina Dobrev in 2017 and TV host Renee Bargh in 2018. As of now, it appears that the actor is not only in high demand professionally but also remains an object of romantic interest.
