Claire Danes is teaming up with Howard Gordon for the upcoming Netflix limited series “The Beast In Me,” where she will star in and help produce the mystery thriller. This collaboration marks a reunion for Danes and Gordon, who previously worked together on the hit series “Homeland.” Danes, a three-time Emmy winner known for her roles in “Homeland” and “Temple Grandin,” brings her talent and versatility to the forefront once again, alongside Gordon, a three-time Emmy winner with an illustrious career spanning acclaimed shows like “Homeland,” “24,” and “The X-Files.”
“The Beast In Me” follows the story of Aggie Wiggs, an acclaimed author who has withdrawn from public life after her son’s tragic death. When a famed real estate mogul, Nile Sheldon, moves in next door, Aggie finds an unlikely subject for a new book as she becomes fascinated by him. As Aggie delves deeper into Nile’s past, she finds herself in a dangerous game of cat and mouse, chasing his demons while fleeing her own.
The series, created by Gabe Rotter and led by Gordon as showrunner, boasts an impressive lineup of executive producers, including Daniel Pearle, Conan O’Brien, Jeff Ross, David Kissinger, and Jodie Foster.
