The newest professional track and field league, called Grand Slam Track, is making its way to Miami this weekend for its second big event of the year.
This exciting new league was started by retired track superstar Michael Johnson, who’s on a mission to bring new life to the sport. His goal? To give fans more chances to watch their favorite athletes compete, not just every four years at the Olympics, but throughout the year with regular, high-energy meets.
The Miami meet is stop number two on Grand Slam Track’s 2025 schedule. After this, the league will head to Philadelphia and Los Angeles, keeping the momentum going. Expect to see some huge names in track and field on the starting line in Florida, including Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Gabby Thomas, Yared Nuguse, Masai Russell, and many more.
If you’re a fan of speed, athleticism, and intense competition, or just looking for something exciting to watch, this event is definitely worth tuning in for.
How to watch the Grand Slam Track Miami
- TV channel: The CW, NBC Sports
- Live stream: Peacock, Fubo
In the United States, the action will be broadcast live on NBC Sports and The CW.
Globally, fans can follow along with coverage led by a top-tier broadcast team, including Steve Cram, Carrie Tollefson, and Anson Henry, with on-the-ground reporting from Radzi Chinyanganya and Taliyah Brooks.
If you prefer streaming, you’re covered there too! Every event across the three-day meet will be available to stream live on Peacock. In fact, Peacock will have exclusive access to Friday’s races, so that’s the only place to watch on Day 1.
