How to Obtain Merlin’s Staff Rod
To unlock Merlin’s Staff, you first need to complete all of Merlin’s quests. After giving him all the shards, talk to him and enter his shop menu. Choose the “Deal (Craft)” option under Merlin’s Staff. You’ll need three items and 1,000,000 C$ to craft it.

Shard of Time – This is the hardest item to get. Collect Radiant Crystal, Rough Geode, and Cut Gem in the Mineshaft and place them on the pedestal to create the Shard of Time.

Anomalous Log – Go to the pond at Ancient Isle (GPS: 6010, 190, 331) and use magnet bait. You’ll also need an Exalted Relic to give the log an Anomalous mutation.
