The Merlin update in Fisch added some exciting new items, including the Twisted Relic. This relic replaces your rod’s main enchantment with a new one but also adds a curse. It’s a mix of risk and reward.
There are seven Twisted Relic enchantments in Fisch. Rage gives a 40% chance per fish movement to add +8% progress but lowers Luck and Resilience. Greed increases Fish Size but slows Lure Speed and Progress Speed. Fractured boosts Progress Speed slightly but lowers Control. Pharaoh’s Curse gives a 25% chance for Sandy. Putrid lowers Luck. Weak reduces Max KG, and Wobbly lowers Control a little.
To get the Twisted Relic, go to Merlin on Sunstone Island and complete his quest. Press E to interact with him, choose “Can I see your shop?” and buy the relic for 500,000 C$. You can only buy one every 30 minutes.
The relic is best for players who enjoy taking risks. The curses can make fishing harder, but the enchantments can speed up catches, grow bigger fish, or make gameplay more unpredictable. Rage and Fractured are great for faster catches, while Greed is fun for size hunting if you can handle slower lure speed. Casual players might find it tricky, but those chasing rare fish or faster runs will enjoy it.
If you want to enchant rods, the Enchant Relic and Exalted Relic are also good options. For secondary enchantments, only the Cosmic Relic works.
