Traveling around Fisch can take a lot of time if you rely on boats. Luckily, there are special items that let you fast travel, and the Mystic Mirror takes it even further. It gives you your own personal fast travel point, so you can return to the same spot whenever you want. Here’s how to get it and use it efficiently.
The Mystic Mirror is sold by Merlin, but you can only get it after completing his quest. You also need to craft it using three items: Magic Mirror, Magical Crystal Geode, and Magical Glass Diamond. Once you have them, go to Merlin’s shop and choose the “Deal (Craft)” option under the Mystic Mirror to complete the crafting.
Here’s how to get the items:
1. Magic Mirror
You can buy the Magic Mirror from the Traveling Merchant for 50,000 C$. Wait for the merchant’s spawn notification and find him to make the purchase.
2. Magical Crystal Geode
To get the Crystal Geode, go fishing at the Mineshaft. You’ll need Merlin’s Veil to enter the Chasm and reach the Mineshaft. Use Merlin’s Staff rod to apply a magical mutation to the Crystal Geode after catching it.
3. Magical Glass Diamond
For the Glass Diamond, go to the Overgrowth Caves in Fisch. Use the GPS coordinates 20301, 272, 5470 to find the location. Catch the Glass Diamond with Merlin’s Staff rod to give it a magical mutation, which changes its color from blue to purple.
Using the Mystic Mirror
The Mystic Mirror works differently from the Traveler’s Whistle or the Magic Mirror. Instead of sending you to a preset location, it acts like your own warp portal. Equip it in your hand and create a portal at your current spot. You can warp anywhere and return to that spot later by using the mirror again. You can also remove the portal anytime by pressing the creation button.
